Partner Relocation Program
A program that helps to locate job opportunities for the unemployed spouses or partners of individuals who have recently relocated to or are in the process of relocating to Broken Arrow.
How Does It Work?
When moving to a new community, especially as a result of a change in career, an individual or family can have their fair share of challenges. There can be concerns around adjusting to a new community or finding employment opportunities.
The Partner Relocation Program was designed to relieve some of that burden by helping unemployed spouses or partners to locate a job with an area employer, for those looking to maintain employment or those re-entering the workforce.
Program candidates must complete an online profile along with providing a current resume. Upon immediate review, your resume will be sent to all area employers that fit with your skills and desired field(s) of interest. Once the employers have received your information, they will contact you, where applicable, to take further action.
Although we cannot guarantee a job offer, we will endeavor to help find you a position of employment that fits your individual needs. Our extensive network of local employers and recruiters are happy to review your information as a mutual benefit to their own hiring needs. This area is complete with equipment to help you achieve your career goals including computers with high-speed internet, printers, standing desks, and even coffee and snacks. All of this is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, giving you access to a wide variety of restaurants and vendors to explore.
Job Search Assistance:
Our staff can support you with creation and perfection of your resume, interviewing skills, and other critical soft skills necessary for employment. We can also support with the identification of career interests through assessment software provided to those we collaborate with. Additionally, you will have VIP access to career fairs and other professional development workshops that are hosted.
Community Integration Support
Moving to a new area can be difficult as we mentioned. We can provide recommendations to different organizations and events that can help make your living transition easier. Our affiliation with the chamber of commerce can be a great solution to getting you plugged in quickly to either volunteer opportunities or engagement with businesses and events.
